born in 1983 in Kiev (Ukraine) in a musicians family, received his first cello lesson at the age of 5 years from his mother. A year later he came to the school for gifted children in St. Petersburg. In Germany he was a regular prizewinner in the competition “Jugend Musiziert” at land and national level.
Ilya Ryabokon began his study with Prof. Martin Ostertag in the University of Music Karlsruhe and did his best-marked certificate with Prof. Roland Kuntze in the University of Music Mannheim.
He appeared as a soloist with the “Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn” and the “Georgian chamber orchestra Ingolstadt” and took part in master courses from A. Meneses, V. Yagling, D.Gregorian, M. Ostertag and other famous cellists. In addition, he was a prizewinner in the international competition “Premio Rovere D'Oro” and had as a loan a violoncello from the “land collection for string instruments Baden-Wurttemberg “. He is a member of the “Junge Deutsche Philharmonie” and was working in the “German state philharmonic of Rhineland-Palatinate”.
